I am truly blessed! I know, I know that sounds so...well obviouse! But it is the unflinching truth, and let me explain why. This whole experence has taught me so many things, patients is a big one! For those that knew me prior to coming up here, you know that I was NOT in any way, shape, or form a patient person! And while I"m on the subject I want to apologize to all my siblings for every time I lost my temper when I was at home. I wasn't in a good place in high school and I know that that is NO excuse, but I really am very sorry. Especially to Zachary, I'm so sorry little brother, I love you so much and I regret so much every time I was short with you or hurt your feelings! I promise to be better, because I have learned patients, I have also learned not to pre-judge. I've learned that getting to know people and figuring out who they are and what they're all about is really what needs to happen. But the biggest thing I've learned is forgivness, the power that lies behind this principle is incredible. I resently had to write a paper for my religion class on this principle. Essentially we had to pick something that we wanted to learn more about, and forgivness was something I felt I needed to understand better. I did some research, read some articles, and foud for myslef what the treu meaning was. The paper became very easy to write after that, it was much like writting a talk! I would share it on my blog, but I can't add an attachment. But if anyone would like a copy ( don't feel like you HAVE to read it) just email me at breperkins@gmail.com or per08004@byui.edu! I am greatful for all that has happened in my life sense coming here, this place and the Spirit of Ricks will always a hold a very special place in my heart:)

Oh P.S. I know that some of you have been wanting my address, sorry it has taken so long to get it to you.

Wyoming...need I say more.....YES!

Hello and welcome to all who have come to read of the adventures of Stacia, Katie, Erica, and Bre! And their WILD trip to Beddford, Wyoming! It was full of fun, laughs, guns, horses, "Lisa's Cookies", and bruises!
Lets see it all started on the evening of Friday, October 10, 2008. We had all finished classes by 4:15 and were egarly awaiting the arrival of Derek Astle, Cole Suter, and Duston Turner [ Wyoming Boys, hence the trip:)]. Anyways we waited patiently for them to come we were so excited that we could hardly contain ourselves! Finally they came ( about 20 minutes late, but better late than never) and it was fabulous to see our favorite people ever!!! Oh I should probably add in as a side note that it was already freezing in Rexburg, so you can imagine how FREAKIN Cold it was going to be in Beddofrd! Any whoozer, the car we were going to ride in was a "little" tight....so we kind of had to squeeze;)

( don't worry, nobody was harmed, in the craming of this vehical....)! So moving on.....the scenary on the way up there was absolutly beautiful, me and my roommate Katie were in awe the entire ride up! Oh by the way, another little tidbit for you... it only take an hour in a half to get to Wyoming from Rexburg! So We finally got there, but only after one
VERY IMPORTANT STOP!
Erica just HAD to take a picture at the "Dam Store"! So obviously a stop had to be made! Well we finally got there and let me tell you ...it was well worth the weight. We met Derek and Coles parents first! Both sets of parentals were AMAZING! Derek referrs to his parents as Mama "D" and Papa "J"!

Coles parents Lisa and Curtiss Suter were the epitome of hospetality and kindness! We ate dinner at Cole's then we headed to Duston's house to his mom and dad, and brother and sister! Bonnie and Corey ( Papa Corey, has Duston calls him) were absolutly wonderful also...they were ju
st so sweet! So after meeting the folks we went over to Dustons neighbors house, which incidently was also his bishop's house, and his bishop is ALSO his uncle! ( yeah this town is kind of tiny!) And we had a ton of fun over there, lets just say there has never been a better Office party than this one! You're probably wondering where Stacia's head is....see feel asleep on the couch, so she wasn't "exactly" conscious for this part of the evening!:) Oh and did I metion that it started snowing! So that was pretty much Friday night except.... Katie's 19th Birthday was the next day..but the gift Stacia bought for her needed to be opened that night!
Matching PJ bottoms!!
Day 2: Ok so the second day we were there, things just got better!!! First of all it was Katie's Birthday, so that in it's self auotmatically makes it a GREAT DAY!!! Cole's mom made us breakfast really yummy pancakes and if you know me...you know that I will not normally eat pancakes UNLESS they are made by Terrance Oliver Chapman ( go Grandpa and his fantastic pancake ability!). But Lisa's pancakes were magnificent, oh and we also found out that it was Col'es little sisters Birthday as well. so good day! After breakfast it was time for the real fun to start..... we went and shot GUNS. Right on for the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms! There's your government lesson for today, anyway yeah true story, we went out to the middle of nowhere, in forest area, and went skeet shooting. Oh and on Saturday there was a 60% chance of a snow storm!!!( I dare anyone out there to tell em they had a better day than me!) yes that right I, Breann Nicole Perkins shot a 20 Gage Shot Gun!! And it was amazing..... these pictures are of

Erica, Cole and Stacia! But there is more where that came from, we had 8 people out there shooting guns and reeking havic!

Yeah I know that these pictures are SWEET! But to keep the ball rolling we were out there for about an hour in a half just enjoying the loud popping sound of the guns ad making fun of each other!
Oh and everyone hit a cly pigeon at leat once...expect for me:( But don't worry I did something that totally surpasses everyones clay pigeon slughtering! Oh and Cole wants everyone to know that He won the skeet shooting contest (even though we weren't even competing!) Ok so after all fun with the guns...we headed back to Cole's house, where his mom had pizza, pop, and HOMEMADE COOKIES! But we had a special surprise for Katie, Dustons mom had made her a yummy Texas Sheet cake and Duston had a gift for her for her big day! So we h
ad to stop off at Duston's for just a second!

So after the festivities, we went on to the next part of our adventure...horse backing riding ...in the snow! It was amazing..oh and by the way thing that I that counter acted not hiting a clay pigeon was getting bucked off the horse I was riding!!! ( Don't worry mom and dad I am FINE, but I have a sweet bruise to prove it. Oh and Cole says sorry for me getting bucked off!) So that was pretty sweet and I didn't even cry...wow I sounded like I was 3 years old just
then!

But sadley, the weekend had to come to an end:(! But are mama's taught us well, and we made sure leave a really sweet note thanking Lisa and Curtiss for their super kindness letting us girls sleep in their Fabulous trailer! We had such a great time and we were able to hang out with 3 of the greatest guys in the world! Well till we meet again Wyoming..so long!

Sheer Distraction!

Lately, as I have been just going through my day to day activities, I feel like my days have all been meshing into one big blob of nothingness! Classes have been sounding the same ( don't ask me how my chem class could ever in a million years make me think of my Book of Mormon class, but it does) and I feel more distracted than ever. I don't know if it's because I am bored or if Iam just suffering from sleep deprivation! But none the less I am so very distracted, and there seems to be nothing I can do about it.
I am even distracted while writing this entry, but that is only because I am watching an all time classic " Sleepless in Seattle". I know, I know i am such a girl, but when one feel the need to watch a gooshy, lovey, " I want my life to be like this movie" romatic film...well ONE just needs to go with it! So I did, or I am...anyways, some of you ( won't mention any names...) are probably going read WAY TOO MUCH into this and say things like " oh no Breann hates school, she's failing at life, and she's going to drop out, never fulfilling her dream of becoming a NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT NURSE!!!"....
Well let me just say..um FALSE! This is not going to happen, I love school, so much infact that I am moving here indefinently in January! And I am not failing, all of my classes are going swimmingly; Chemistry may be difficult, but I am not failing and further more the words dropping out will never ever go together in the same sentence ( for me) as long as I live! So people please don't freak out, I am fine, school is fine, LIFE is fine! I merly wrote this because it needed to be said and I have heard that a blog is a good place to get things off your chest. So I guess I am asking for you prayers and a kind thought....you know for moral support :)

Conference Weekend Thought!

Just a quick little thought I had reguarding conference weekend. Please, to all my friends and family out there, be sure to come to conference or come to watch conference with a question in your heart. I know what I just typed sounds really weird, most ( if not all) of you are probably thinking its supposed to be "come with a question in Mind". And while this has always been true, I have had the privilege sense being up here to read Elder Bednars talk " Seek Learning by Faith".

In this talk he speaks about our hearts and opening them up to the spirit in order to be up lifted and edified! And while having question in your mind is a wonderful idea, it's ineffective. Because the spirit doesn't touch the mind, it touches the heart. By having that question or problem that we need help answering in our hearts, the spirit will be able to more fully reach it. But we have to allow it to, because Elder Bednar also spoke of pride and not wanting to learn because of it.

So Brothers and Sisters, please remember to let go of your pride and let the Lord, our Savior, and the holy spirit answer your question or ease your troubled heart through the words of his prophet.

Because this my struggle every day, and this conference I have my question and I am ready to be up lifted and learn of my God...are you?

Long Time No Talk!

Hey folks!!!! Sorry I haven't been typing like a maniac, keeping you all informed on my Oh so intersting BYU-I Life. But believe it or not ( hopefully you believe it), I have be SWAMPED with all sorts of stuff to do. Things like homework, work, ROOMIES, more homework, more work, and boys!! ( don't get any ideas, I'm talking about dating them!) Anyways, life has been one big blurr so, bare with me while I try to inturrperet the sometimes crazy dream that is my life!
Well last week was incredibly OUT OF CONTROL! Me and my absoulty fabulous roomies started out our week as normal, with class...Blhaa, don't get me wrong, I LOVE school, but I was not looking forward to that particular week. For one I had 3, yes count'em 3, exams. 2 that were on the same days, and one on Friday....by the way what kind of sick person gives an exam on Friday, that also happens to lead into the weekedn!! UHH. UH I ask you this, but to credit my Professor, he was kind enough to also leave it open on Monday too. So I change my mind...Thanks Bro. Cameron!!! Anywhoozer, so that was the I had to look forward to, plus my life was going a little hairwire ( that my friends, is another story for another day...or never works too!;) ) But life got a little nicer when a) we met our FHE group had a fabulous FHE lesson and get to know you game. All of my FHE family members are pretty great, except for one that shall remain namless and will not be spoken of! Then life got even better after that...wait for it, wait for it....when me and my possy went to play softball with some very adorable RM's and 2 equally adorable premies! Which we so loveingly referr to as "Our Boys"!! Oh and p.s. they are all fluent in either spanish or porteugease!!!! That my firends is very SEXY!!

So needless to say, that was great and I even got a few hits in....not good hits, but hits! The week ran some what smoothly for the next couple of days, then came Thursday.....CHEM EXAM. In one word...YIKES! and we are just going to leave it at that!
So that was exciting, but after that Friday came...whoohoo! And Firday ment yet another exam, but it also ment hangign out with the Boys from 312, who, if you don't mind me saying, are AAAMAZZING! anyway, we enjoyed their always fun company and jokes! But once again fun for me was cut short because of Work...go 3:30 am!! But on the flip side my adoable roomie Katie was asked on a date by one of our 312 boys!!! So early morning came and went, and then came the real fun..... working on the ward news letter. I was called to be the BYU-Idaho 5th Ward newsletter Corrordinator!! So that was fun, and it turned out Awesome!!! ( If I do say so myself, but I'm biased!)
